Love asks me to keep my heart open. Wisdom teaches me where to place it.

July 21

There is a quiet confidence that comes from no longer needing to force understanding.

I don’t have to strain to know what I cannot yet know.

I don’t have to chase every answer.

Being is enough.

Clarity comes when it is ready.

I’ve also learned that letting go doesn’t mean I stop loving.

It means I stop trying to control.

I allow people the dignity of their own choices, while honoring my responsibility to care for myself.

Healing has taught me that discernment is an act of love.

Not everyone is capable of holding my heart with care.

That doesn’t make them bad people.

It simply helps me recognize where I feel safe, where I feel seen, and where I can be fully myself.

Boundaries aren’t walls.

They are the loving structure that allows my heart to remain open without becoming unprotected.

When someone responds without compassion, especially in seasons of deep grief or vulnerability, I no longer believe it is my job to convince them to understand.

Sometimes those experiences aren’t invitations to harden my heart.

They’re invitations to become wiser about where I share it.

I can bless people from a distance.

I can forgive without abandoning myself.

I can love without losing myself.

And perhaps that’s one of the greatest lessons any teacher can learn.

A true teacher doesn’t create followers.

She helps people trust the wisdom already living within them.

Every conversation becomes an opportunity to listen as much as to speak.

To learn as much as to teach.

Because we’re all walking each other home.

Grounding Questions

Where in my life is wisdom asking me to practice discernment rather than judgment?

Do my boundaries protect my heart or hide it?

How can I remain open to love while honoring what I know is true for me today?
